MARS CLIMATE
Mars is not exactly tropical. Daily weather ranges from cold to brutally cold, with dust storms that can last months. Know what you are getting into.
DAILY CONDITIONS
Mornings are the calmest time on Mars. Thin atmosphere means UV radiation is extreme. Temperatures drop fast after sunset, hitting dangerous lows by midnight. Expect dry, dusty air every single day.
DUST STORMS
Mars gets global dust storms that can cover the entire planet for weeks. These block out sunlight and coat everything in fine red dust. Our tours are scheduled around storm season, but surprises happen.
ATMOSPHERE
Mars has 1% of Earth's atmospheric pressure. Mostly carbon dioxide. No breathable air outside your suit or habitat. Wind speeds can reach 100 km/h but feel like a gentle breeze due to the thin air.
